Under mania syptoms include more energy, less need for sleep, a restless, quick to distractibility, racing thoughts and very talkative and confident but not much work is done despite better concentration. In general, this is more risky if things appear to go wrong.

When you feel depressed person is not interested in normal things, feels guilty about small things. They feel a sense of worthlessness and hopelessness. They feel good blue and sleep too much or not enough. There will be a weight change, up or down and you feel tired all the time. They also have trouble making decisions, focused on a particular job and may have excess energy or restlessness.

Certain things trigger mood swings and one must be aware of what causes them. More often, the trigger is factos events that took place in the life of this person.

Today, there are treatments for bipolar disorder that make it more easy to control disease. They are available by talking with your provider of health care so you can work on a plan to stabilize their mood swings and lead a normal life and healthy.
